Part of the Intimate Interviews with the Magnificent Seven collection.

I was a bit nervous about my first interview. After all, I had never asked anyone intimate questions before. I didn't even know where I would find any of the Magnificent Seven. But, while I was out scouting the territory one day, I came across Chris Larabee. What a wonderful way to begin the interviewing process, I thought. And now, my intimate interview with Chris:

Me: Good afternoon, Mr. Larabee. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?

Chris: Yes, I mind.

Me: I promise nothing personal, sir. Just your basic "how do you do" questions.

Chris: Whatever gets yer fire going.

Me: Well, that would be Ezra, but that's another story. So, exactly how old are you Mr. Larabee?

Chris: Old enough to know I've seen plenty of heartache.

Me: Um...okay. What made you decide to be a gunslinger?

Chris: ::glares at me with those piercing green eyes:: You're gettin' a little personal there, miss.

Me: Sorry. The whole Sarah/Adam thing, huh? OW! You didn't need to throw that rock at me. Anyway, how did it make you feel when the other six men joined up with you for the first time to fight for justice? What were you thinking?

Chris: Not much. I was too busy worrying about whether we'd be able to help the Seminole village or not.

Me: Do you have feelings for Mary?

Chris: ::reaches for his gun::

Me: All right, all right, you don't have to answer.

Chris: One more question like that and you won't be around to ask any more questions.

Me: Why is Ezra the outcast?

Chris: He can't be trusted. He ran out on me once, and ever since then I'm weary of him.

Me: Vin ran out on you once. He's not an outcast. So don't hand me that line.

Chris: All right, Ezra beat me in a poker game and I've been sore about it ever since.

Me: Thought so.

Chris: If you're just about done, I have some things to tend to...

Me: One more question, Mr. Larabee. How do you plan to come back to the women and Ladees who love you so true?

Chris: That's a secret. We don't anyone to know we're gonna attack all the CBS executives in the world.

Me: You just told me your secret.

Chris: No I didn't.

Me: Yes you did.

Chris: No I didn't.

Me: Yes you did.

Chris: No...I...didn't.

Me: Of course you didn't!

That is the first interview that I as your roving Old West reporter have completed. Tune in to "Magnificent Seven Dateline" tomorrow when I will have the latest from Vin Tanner.
