Day six 10 p.m.:

"Oh shit," Raphael said softly. He nodded toward Chris's office. Chris Larabee was standing in the doorway scowling.

"That is not a happy man," Josiah said.

"What's he got to be unhappy about?" Eli Joe asked. "He's the only one whose been getting laid."

"Lydia's right over there," Yosemite said and pointed to where Lydia was watching television.

"Already had that whore every way there is and then some," Eli Joe replied.

"Who hasn't?" Raphael asked and they all laughed.

"I want to try out the new piece of ass," Eli Joe said. "Fuck this!" he said and got up.

"Hey, Chris," Eli Joe said. "Red light off yet?"

Chris ignored him, scanning the bar for Buck.

"Did you take the red light off?" Eli Joe asked again. "C'mon, you been hittin' that ass for four days, let the rest of us have a turn."

"Fuck off, Eli!" Chris replied.

"Fair's fair. I want to fuck him, too," Eli Joe complained.

"I don't give a fuck what you want," Chris told him. "I'll take the red light off, when I'm dammed well good and ready to take it off. Where's Buck?" he demanded.

Eli Joe shrugged. "He was talking to the new sweet butt a while ago. C'mon, take the red light off. I'm getting blue balls waiting on it."

"Get the fuck out of my face!" Chris demanded. "The fucking red light'll stay on until Christmas if I want it to. You got a fucking problem with that?"

Eli Joe held his hands out in a pacifying manner. "I ain't got no problem."

"Buck!" Chris yelled, spying the other man coming out of the kitchen. "Goddamnit! Where have you been?"

Buck shook his head. Chris was in every bit as shitty a mood as he'd expected after his conversation with Vin. "Getting something to eat," Buck said. "Take it in your office," he ordered.

Chris glared at him and then turned around. He paused a minute. "Buck," he called in a calmer voice. "Red light stays on," he said looking right at Eli Joe. He went into his office and left the door open. Buck followed him and slammed it shut.
