Hello, and thank you for tuning in. After my interview with Josiah, I left the church with my face intact (thank goodness!!) and saw JD Dunne sitting in a chair in front of the General Store. I approached him and began the interview.
Me: Mr. Dunne, could I interview you for my show?
JD: Sure!
Me: Oh, good! So, let's begin with your age, Mr. Dunne. How old are you?
JD: ::defensively:: Age ain't important!
Me: Okay, okay. How has the West changed you?
JD: Aw, I don't know. I've seen a lot more stuff in my time out West than I've seen my whole life back East.
Me: Besides Buck, which of the other six do you look up to the most and why?
JD: Chris, because of his strength, selflessness, and ability to lead men who are so different.
Me: Wow! Good answer, good answer! ::regaining my composure:: Sorry, thought I was on "Family Feud" for a moment.
JD: Huh?
Me: Never mind. When do you plan on proposing to Casey?
JD: ::blushing:: When the time is right, I guess.
Me: Did you give her that letter Buck wrote for you?
JD: ::shaking his head:: No way! Uh-uh!
Me: Your hat was shot up pretty bad when Rafael came to town. Why did you go out and buy a hat identical to that one? Why not a new hat style?
JD: I like my bowler hat. Besides, it's kinda like my trademark.
Me: Tell me about your parents, Mr. Dunne. Who were they?
JD: They were the strongest people I knew.
Me: Yes, but who were they?
JD: My parents.
Me: But WHO...oh, never mind! Has the fame you've received changed you in any way?
JD: Not really.
Me: Why do you want to become a Texas Ranger?
JD: Just to help people like I do here. Plus, the pay's better.
Me: Do you think the Magnificent Seven will break up for good one day?
JD: Probably. We all want to do different things.
Me: I can't believe I'm about to ask this question, but what do you plan on doing to come back to the women and Darlin's who love you so true?
JD: Promise you won't tell anyone?
Me: I promise.
JD: You won't give this out to the public or anyone?
Me: Me?! Of course not!
JD: Well, remember how CBS got a cactus sent to 'em? We're gonna send 'em a noose.
Me: Would this be before or after you attack the CBS executives?
JD: Before. It'll be a warning.
Me: Mr. Dunne, thank you for taking this time to answer my questions and for not threatening my life.
JD: I was happy to. Why would I threaten you?
Me: No reason.
This is the most peaceful interview I've conducted yet, so I'm feeling pretty good. Stay tuned; later this afternoon we will air another new episode. I will be playing doctor with Nathan Jackson. It should be fun!
