The Last Candle

Disclaimers: I don’t own the boys, just play with them. Trilogy, CBS and the other PTB own them. Mog created the ATF universe.

The atmosphere at Inez’s Saloon was festive. Despite the black streamers and balloons. The "Over the Hill" decorations were everywhere along with various gag gifts. For it was Chris Larabee’s fortieth birthday. And a birthday the senior ATF agent was not soon to forget.

"Come on, Chris," JD called. "Open this big one next!"

The birthday boy took another swig from his beer bottle and complied, catching the present his youngest team member tossed to him. He tore the paper, which was tastefully wrapped around the box and immediately started laughing.

"Alright, who gave me this one?" he asked, holding up the box of Depends.

None of his friends answered, but all shared in the laugh. Chris dropped the box onto the floor. Next to the bottle of Geritol, the package of Rogain, the Grecian Formula, the aluminum walker and the AARP registration forms.

He was handed another present then, a smaller one. He unwrapped it carefully, noting the serious interest his team members seemed to suddenly have. Inside was a silver picture frame. Framed was a portrait of the seven, in uniform, taken at one of their recent training exercises. There was a small plaque at the bottom of the frame, which read, "The Magnificent Seven."

The blonde man smiled as he met the gaze of each of his men. His friends.

"Thanks, guys. This is great," he said.

"To the birthday boy!" Buck shouted, holding his beer in the air.

All the partygoers raised their drinks in unison as they toasted Chris and his birthday.

"And now, it’s cake time!" Vin called, carefully carrying a large cake, its top blazing with lit candles.

The young sharpshooter carried the cake forward and placed it on the table in front of Chris.

"Make a wish, Mr. Larabee," Ezra instructed.

Chris laughed and closed his eyes. Then he opened them and proceeded to blow on the candles, getting most of them extinguished. After a second try, all of them were gotten.

"You actually got all forty on the cake?" he asked.

"Hey, there’s only thirty-nine!" JD quickly corrected. "Vin! You forgot one!"

Vin just shrugged his shoulders and said, "Oops. Musta lost it."

"Don’t worry," Chris cut in. "I’ll take the thirty-nine. That way I’m not really forty, yet."

The party continued for another two hours or so, with Inez calling cabs for those that didn’t have rides or designated drivers. Vin, not being a big drinker to begin with, happened to be one of the designated drivers. After helping Inez clean up the party decorations and mess, he herded Buck, JD and Chris into his Jeep.

Half an hour later, he helped Buck and JD into their apartment.

"Well, Cowboy," he said to Chris. "You ready to head on home?"

"Sure am," Chris replied. "Home, James!" he exclaimed with a flourish.

A short while later, Vin helped the birthday boy carry his presents to the front door of the house and then into the living room.

"Where you want this leftover cake?" he asked.

"Should fit in the fridge. Hate for it to go to waste." Chris replied. "Sure was good. Did you have any?"

"Yep, got a corner piece with lots of icing," Vin replied with a mischievous grin.

"You know, I didn’t think JD was gonna let you have a piece, after losing that fortieth candle and all," Chris remarked, following Vin into the kitchen.

"But that’s just it," Vin said, turning around. "I didn’t lose it."

Chris stopped in his tracks at the remark, confused by it and Vin’s tone of voice.

"Okay, I’m confused," he said slowly.

Vin smiled and stepped closer to the older man. Came toe to toe with him as he backed Chris up against the counter.

"See, I knew where that last birthday candle was all the time," the sharpshooter said with a smile. He reached forward and began to caress the front of Chris’s pants, bringing the flesh underneath to fullness. "Was hoping you’d let me blow it out for ya."

"Another birthday present?" Chris whispered, pushing into Vin’s caress.

"Somethin’ like that," Vin replied, slowly unzipping the other man’s pants, reaching in.

"Who gets to make the wish?" the blonde asked huskily, the sensations of Vin’s actions taking control of him.

"Your birthday, Cowboy," the younger man drawled, kneeling on the floor, now. "What do you think?"

"I don’t want to think," Chris gasped as Vin practically swallowed him whole.

The younger man began sucking on Chris’s length, slowly moving it in and out of his moist mouth. One hand stroked the base of the shaft and the other fondled Chris’s balls. He’d gradually speed up his movements – stroking up and down, his tongue swirling around the tip - until he’d get Chris on the edge, and then he’d slow down and start all over.

Chris lost count of how many times the young agent before him had almost made him come. If it didn’t feel so damn good it would have been frustrating. Each time, anticipating, hoping Vin would let him come, burst into his mouth. Each time disappointed, yet glad he could do it again.

He wrapped his fingers in the sharpshooter’s long locks and began to thrust himself into Vin’s throat, timing it perfectly with the younger man’s actions. Finally. He felt it coming. The point of no return. With a triumphant cry he exploded, spewing his hot juices forth and into his young lover. The young lover that didn’t spill a drop, that sucked him dry.

As he held onto the countertop, afraid he’d fall if he let go, he became aware of Vin standing before him -with a big smile on his face.

"So what’d you wish for?" Vin asked, moving forward to lean against Chris, wrapping his arms around him.

"More candles," Chris replied, before devouring the younger man with a kiss, plunging his tongue past the luscious lips.

"Happy Birthday, Cowboy," Vin said, returning the kiss.
