THE LIE

At twelve noon, Vin Tanner lifted his face up from the report he'd been engrossed in for the last hour, and looked around the deserted ATF office. Only JD still remained with him in the outer area of cubicles, transfixed by his computer screen. His stomach growled loudly and the sharpshooter stood up and stretched with a sigh, then headed over to Chris's office.

"Wanna go grab a bite to eat cowboy?" Vin Tanner asked coyly as he leaned against the frame of his boss's door.

"No, sorry, Vin, can't," Chris Larabee replied, looking up from a stack of papers covering his desk. "I'm just going to grab something out of the machine. I've got a ton of paperwork to do before the Jefferson meeting next week."

"Want me to pick ya up somethin', then?" Vin asked softly.

"No, no, you go on ahead, Vin," Chris replied absently, head down, already back to working.

"It's Friday, you know," Vin persisted, now standing forlornly in the doorway.

"Uh-huh," Chris replied absently, as he signed several forms.

"Okay, see ya later," Vin replied, slightly hurt. He grabbed his coat and hurried out of the office. Riding the elevator down to the parking garage, his head swam with confusion.

He and Chris had gone to lunch every Friday since Vin had joined the team two years ago. And since they'd become lovers six months ago, it had become even more of a ritual for them. They stopped at the deli near the office, got lunch and drove to the park close to the office. When it was nice out, they picnicked near the small lake there. In the colder months, they sat in Chris's Ram, with the heat blaring, talking and enjoying the beauty of the winter wonderland before them. Today would have been one of the those days, he thought sadly. It was mid-December and cold. The little lake would be iced over, and with the snow falling like it was, the scene would be breathtaking. He had looked forward to sharing that with Chris all morning, and now Chris was reneging on their weekly lunch date.

He climbed into his jeep, and cruised out of the lot, determined to go to the deli, get his lunch and go to the park himself. He would enjoy himself even if Chris was too busy. Then he smiled. 'Hell, I'll even bring him back a sandwich, guess it's not his fault he got slammed with work,' he told himself, feeling happy once again. Pulling into a parking spot in front of the deli, he dashed out, and went for his wallet. "Shit, left it in my desk drawer," he cursed softly. He was only a couple blocks from the office, and didn't want to give up his good parking space, so he jogged back to the Federal building. As he neared the corner, he could make out the familiar form of Chris, walking hurriedly alongside JD Dunne. Vin darted back behind the building and watched as Chris laughed at something JD said, then slung his arm casually around the younger man's back, as they walked against the biting wind.

Vin shrank back against the building, stunned. 'What the hell was Chris doin' with JD if he said he was too busy to go to lunch?' he wondered to himself. 'Thought he said he had a ton of paperwork to do."

Sick to his stomach, he forgot about the wallet and ran to his jeep. He drove to the park, just sitting in the jeep, oblivious to nature's beauty surrounding him. 'Why Chris, why?' he wondered.

After nearly an hour of fretting, he turned the jeep back to the office. 'Maybe somethin' came up, maybe there's a reasonable explanation,' he told himself. 'No reason to worry about anything just yet.'

He walked back into the office, now bustling with activity, as the rest of the team had gotten back in from lunch.. He peeked into Chris's office, where their leader was sitting in his chair, still buried with paperwork. Then he turned to the youngest member of the team, who was busily inputting data into his computer.

"What'd you do for lunch JD?" he asked casually.

"Stayed here and worked through it Vin," JD replied. "I'm swamped."

"Oh," Vin said quietly. He felt his face flush at JD's lie. He walked over to Chris's office. 'How 'bout you Chris? What'd you end up doin'?"

"Told you Vin, I stayed here and worked," Chris replied, his voice taking on a slight edge of irritation. "Why all the questions about lunch, cowboy?" he asked softly.

"No reason," Vin answered sadly. "Just wonderin'," he muttered, and walked over to his desk. He slumped in the cubicle and tried to bury himself with work for the rest of the long afternoon.

"Vin."

"Huh?" the sharpshooter asked, jumping slightly at the voice in his ear. He turned his gaze from the report to look into the sparkling eyes of his lover.

"Good reading in there, huh, pard?" he asked with amusement.

"Yeah, sure," Vin answered laconically.

"You're still coming over tonight, right?" Chris asked quietly.

Vin shrugged. "Don't know, haven't really thought about it."

"What are you talking about Vin? Thought we had it all arranged," Chris protested.

"Figured you had some paperwork or something to do," Vin said testily.

Chris lowered his head, running his hand through his hair in frustration. "Is this about lunch today? Shit, Vin, I'm sorry, I know we usually have lunch on Friday's but...I just had to do that paperwork. I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you. Please come to the ranch with me tonight. Please."

Vin looked at the pleading eyes and his resistance slipped away. He had a hard time ever refusing Chris anything, especially when he gave him that look. "Okay Chris, I'll come," he said softly.

The leader looked at Vin with a sly grin. "Good, 'cause I've got mistletoe hung up all over the house, just waiting for you."

"Mistletoe, huh?" Vin said mischievously. 'Maybe things will end up bein' all right,' he thought to himself wistfully. Then he answered his lover aloud. "What ya supposed to do with that?" he teased.

Chris looked at his watch. "I'll show you in a couple of hours," he promised with a wink.

+ + + + + + +

Three hours later, Vin was flat on his back, stretched out on Chris's bed, waiting for his lover to come back into the room.

The older man reappeared, holding several bunches of mistletoe, and two other small, rolled objects.

"Chris? Chris? Now what are ya doin' with those?" Vin asked nervously, as Chris came toward him, unraveling two silk ties. "We gonna play office or somethin'?" he joked.

"Something like that Vin," Chris replied with an feral grin.

He straddled the younger man and grabbed one wrist quickly, then tied it to the bedpost with one of the ties. Vin yelped with surprise at Chris's actions, but before he could react any further, Chris had lashed the other wrist to the opposite post. He grinned down at his captive lover as he picked up one piece of mistletoe.

"Chris...." Vin said, squirming against the silk bonds.

"Sshh, Vin, just relax," Chris whispered, leaning down to press a hard kiss against Vin's questing lips. His tongue greedily probed inside Vin's soft mouth, eliciting a moan of pleasure from the sharpshooter.

Chris felt his manhood begin to swell with arousal, and moved lower on Vin's body to brush his cock against Vin's. He ground his erection into Vin's hungrily. Vin twisted and moaned beneath him.

"Like that Vin?" he asked huskily.

"Chris....what.....let me go...." Vin said dazedly.

Chris leaned down and licked at Vin's ear. "Not yet Vin, we're just starting to have fun," Chris whispered against the moistened flesh. Vin shivered at the sensation.

Unable to wait any longer, Chris gently placed the leaves of the mistletoe onto Vin's neck, slowly scraping the plant down Vin's taut body. He drew the sharp, pointed plant around each of Vin's nipples, then brought the plant lower, down his abdomen, then touching it softly to his swollen crotch. Vin's erection jumped at the gentle contact, then stilled as Chris laid the leaves just above it.

"You know what they say Vin, about kissing under the mistletoe?" Chris whispered, a split-second before he engulfed Vin's entire organ in his hot, eager mouth.

"Chris....oh God....yes, Chris, more...!" the younger man urged as the older man lapped at his entire length, driving his tongue over the swollen head, then suckling at it greedily.

A minute later, Chris's strong lips and tongue had sent Vin over the edge, coaxing the sharpshooter to shoot his creamy essence into Chris's waiting mouth. The older man drank hungrily, continuing to suck at Vin's inflamed organ until the younger man whimpered with ecstasy.

"Chris....Chris....please.......make love to me......now......" Vin begged softly.

Chris kissed his lover, then stood up and released his hands from the silk ties, kissing each wrist as he set them back on the bed gently. Then he climbed back into bed and reached for the bottle of baby oil, quickly slicking up his own throbbing member, while looking into Vin's passion-glazed eyes. He lifted Vin's legs, draping them over his shoulders. Vin hung on, his eyes now half-closed with his hunger for Chris.

"I love you Vin," Chris whispered as he entered the sharpshooter's body with a deep thrust.

"Oh...God......" Vin choked out as Chris filled him completely. "Love...you...too," he panted as Chris began to pump into him vigorously.

"Vin....Vin..." Chris moaned as he drove himself into Vin over and over.

The sharpshooter dug his nails into Chris's back, throwing back his head, reveling in the feeling of receiving each of Chris's powerful thrusts.

Suddenly, Chris ground himself into Vin one final time, filling him with his fiery liquid, and causing the younger man to come again, his seed spilling out of him in a surge of pleasure.

The two men shuddered with the force of their orgasms, then fell together onto the bed in a tight embrace.

The sound of a ringing phone and a sprig of mistletoe digging into his bare back woke Chris from a sound sleep the following morning. He rolled over and reached for the phone, answering it quickly before it woke up Vin.

"H'lo?....No, no.....I'm not sure......" He looked over at Vin, still fast asleep. "JD, I'm gonna switch phones, hang on."

He left the phone off the cradle, and hurriedly went to the phone in the den, never noticing Vin's eyes open slightly to watch as he walked away. The sharpshooter leaned over and eavesdropped on the phone conversation.

"Okay JD, give me that address again."

"55 Spring Hill Court. I'll meet you there around one o'clock."

"Good. Don't even tell Buck about this JD, you know he might slip and tell Vin."

"It'll be hard to keep this a secret Chris," JD protested.

"Well, we won't have to for long JD, don't worry. Just for a few more days."

"Okay Chris. What are you going to tell Vin?"

"I'll make up something. Maybe tell him I have some more paperwork to do."

"Okay, I'll back up your story. You can tell me what to say later."

"Better go JD, Vin might be waking up. See you at one, and thanks."

As he hung up the phone, Vin quickly laid back down exactly as he had been before. His whole body was shaking from the shock. 'Chris and JD? Why? I thought Chris loved me! He said it last night! Why is he lying to me! Why's he stringin' me along?' he silently screamed over and over in his mind.

Chris walked into the bedroom, looked at Vin, satisfied that he was still asleep, and replaced the phone on its hook. He slid into bed and cuddled next to what he thought was his sleeping lover.

"Vin, wake up," he whispered seductively, nibbling on the younger man's ear.

Vin flinched at his touch. 'How can he do this to me after he just set up a date with JD?' Vin asked himself with disgust. He opened his eyes and glared at Chris, pulling away from him.

"Somebody sure looks cranky," Chris joked, reaching for Vin again.

"I'm fine," Vin bit out, sitting up in the bed, shying away from Chris.

"Okay Vin, whatever you say," Chris agreed, trying to change the subject. "You hungry?"

"No, I need to get going."

"What're you talking about?" Chris protested. "Thought we were going to do some Christmas shopping for the guys."

"Just remember some things I gotta do," Vin said with a shrug.

"Like what?" Chris challenged.

"Dunno, just things," Vin replied stubbornly.

"You coming back tonight?" Chris said, with a slight catch in his voice. 'What the hell is Vin doing? Why is he shutting me out?' he wondered to himself.

"No," Vin said flatly. "I'm gonna be gone a while. See you on Monday." He tugged on the last of his clothing and headed for the door in a flash.

"Monday? Monday! You know our Christmas party is tonight! Vin, wait!" Chris called after him unhappily. He grabbed his jeans from the floor and threw them on while he ran after the fast-stepping sharpshooter. "Vin!"

"See ya around Chris," Vin said, hand on the doorknob. He swung it open and hurried out to the jeep.

Chris ran out after him, clad only in jeans. He ran to Vin's jeep, ignoring the sting to his bare feet as they crunched on the snow.

"What's all this about Vin?" he huffed, slamming a strong hand against the driver's side door of the jeep, keeping Vin from opening it.

"You tell me Chris," Vin shot back angrily. "Don't you think I deserve better than this?"

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about! Quit acting crazy and talk to me Vin!" Chris shouted, then shivered as the frigid air blew across his naked chest.

"I'm acting crazy? I'm acting crazy?" Vin shouted enraged. "How the hell would you act in this situation? Did you pull this shit with Sarah, too?" he spat out.

"Shut the fuck up Vin!" Chris screamed. "Leave Sarah out of whatever the hell this is about!"

"Oh, I'll shut up Chris, right now! I'm gettin' the hell outta here so you won't have to listen to me anymore!" Vin ripped Chris's arm away from the door, yanked it open, slammed and locked it. He threw the jeep into reverse and punched the accelerator, spinning up snow as he whipped out of Chris's long driveway.

"Son of a bitch!" Chris cursed as he watched Vin speed away. He stood outside a moment longer, letting the cold air cool the anger boiling inside him. 'What the hell was Vin's problem? He was going to blow off the ATF Christmas party tonight? And what had he meant by the comment about Sarah?' He had calmed down considerably at this point and gingerly picked his way back into the silent house. "Shit," he muttered softly, knowing that whatever had been bothering Vin and causing him to act so strangely had just been made worse by him losing him temper. 'Why can't I keep my cool?' he berated himself. 'I should have just sat Vin down and calmly asked him to explain what was on his mind.' He shook his head wearily. 'When are you gonna learn Larabee?'

He walked into the kitchen and started the coffee. The day had started so well, with JD's phone call. Chris was going to give Vin a horse for Christmas, and knowing the youngest member of the seven had worked in a few stables and a race track back east during his high school and college years, had asked JD to help him find just the right horse for Vin. Chris knew a bit about horseflesh, but he trusted JD's judgment, and wanted a second opinion. This had to be the best. He wanted this present for Vin to be perfect. He poured himself a cup of coffee, trying to decide how much time he should give Vin to cool down.

The first sip of coffee scalded his tongue, further darkening his mood. It helped to make up his mind about talking to Vin. Things weren't bound to get any better with this day, so he figured he might as well get the tough stuff over with.

He dialed Vin's cell phone number.

"Tanner," a flat voice answered.

"Vin, look. I don't know what your problem is with me right now..."

"Got nothin' to say to you Chris..." Vin interrupted.

"Vin, I'm calling as your supervisor right now, so you'd better listen to me," Chris cut in. Silence greeted him on the other line, so he pressed on, hating what he was about to do next.

"We can discuss your problem with me later, when you feel like talking about it. But for right now, I am ordering you to attend the ATF Christmas party tonight. I am not going to explain your absence to the captain, and AD Travis will be very disappointed if you don't show. We are a team and we need to function as a team. You got that Agent Tanner?"

"Yes sir," Vin replied flippantly. "I'll be there. Any other orders for me, or can I go?" he asked coldly.

Chris recoiled at the frosty tone, feeling his lover slipping further and further away from him, but forced himself to finish the conversation in a professional manner. "No, that's all. See you tonight," Chris said and hung up the phone. Then he fell limply into one of the kitchen chairs, head in his hands. After a few minutes, uttering a tired sigh, he pulled himself out of the chair, and headed for the shower. He still had an appointment with JD and a horse owner to keep.

+ + + + + + +

Vin stood in a corner, chugging his third beer later that evening, watching as JD and Buck walked into the banquet room. It was still early, and the party was not yet in full swing. He had been the first member of his team there, and he planned on staying just until Chris, the captain and AD Travis showed up. Chris had forced him to come to this party, but he'd be damned if he'd make him stay.

He slammed down the rest of the beer and headed to the bar for another.

"Hey Vin!" JD greeted, sidled up to him in the line.

"JD," Vin replied evenly.

"Having fun?" JD asked, not realizing Vin's foul mood.

"Yeah, a real blast," Vin said sarcastically. He got his beer and walked away.

"What are you getting for Chris for Christmas Vin?" JD persisted innocently, as he followed the frowning sharpshooter.

"Why, so you can get him something better?" Vin shot back defensively.

JD looked at Vin with surprise. "What do you mean by that Vin? I was just wondering."

"None of your damn business, JD. Just shut up and get lost," Vin snapped irritably.

"S-sorry Vin...." JD stumbled, his face falling at Vin's harsh words.

"That's a real nice way to talk to the kid Vin!" Buck interrupted sternly. "You sure have a bug up your butt, boy! What's your problem?"

"My problem is nosy people and lying bastards! So get away from me Buck and take this little creep with you!" he shouted, staggering a few steps back and downing his beer.

"That's enough," a tight, angry voice ordered.

The three men turned and looked at the stony face of Chris Larabee. "Buck, make my excuses to the captain and AD Travis, will you?" As the mustached man nodded, Chris stepped forward, yanked the beer out of Vin's hand and pulled him toward the exit without a backward glance.

"What are you doing?" Vin hissed, twisting him arm, trying to break the tight hold Chris had on his wrist.

"Getting to the bottom of whatever's eating you," Chris responded curtly, as he smacked open the door with his palm. "Your attitude sucks. You had no call to talk to JD or Buck like that." Now that they were outside, he quickened his pace, drawing them closer to his SUV.

"Let go!" Vin shouted. "I'm outta here! Let me go!"

"Nope, you're coming with me!" Chris barked, jerking the passenger side door open, and shoved Vin inside. "And if you know what's good for you, Vin, you'll stay in that seat," he threatened.

Vin crossed his arms and fumed as Chris walked around to the driver's side and got in. He started the car and they drove off into the night.

"Spill it Vin," Chris ordered.

"Don't know what the hell you're talkin' about," Vin said, slurring his words slightly. He'd had four beers on an empty stomach, and was starting to feel the effects of the alcohol.

"Don't play games with me!" Chris bit out sharply. "Something's wrong, and now you're gonna tell me what it is."

"Shut up and leave me alone," Vin muttered.

Chris gripped the steering wheel tightly and tried to concentrate on the road, but Vin was making it very difficult. The sharpshooter was tipsy, Chris could tell, but he was also acting like a total jerk, which was very out of character for him. And he was lashing out at the other team members, who were like family. Vin's problem was serious, whatever it was. He decided to try a different tack, since the direct approach was failing miserably.

"Vin, JD looks up to you, he thinks a lot of you....."

"You bastard!" Vin shouted. The car continued to speed down the darkened street. "Stop the fuckin' car and let me out here. I ain't ridin' with you no more!"

"I ain't stoppin' the car and you ain't getting out, that's for damned sure," Chris said, trying to remain calm, while wondering exactly what the hell he'd just said that would make Vin so angry.

Vin glared at him.

"Just tell me what's wrong Vin, why you're snapping at JD and Buck. The kid didn't do anything wrong. From what I saw, he was just talking to you and you bit his head off. If I've done something to make you mad, then take it out on me, not on JD."

"Oh isn't that nice, takin' up for him like that Chris," Vin said smartly. His voice rose again, along with his anger. "How you could sit there and lie to me yesterday and this morning...." He looked around suddenly, noticing Chris had stopped for a red light. "I hope you and JD are real happy together Chris! You can quit lyin' now and be with the one you want! Just quit tryin' to make a fool outta me!" he blurted out, then hopped out of the passenger seat, slammed the door shut and took off running.

"Vin!" Chris shouted, rolling down the window. "Vin! Wait!"

The sharpshooter turned to look at Chris, then turned back away and kept running. He headed for an alley and Chris followed right behind in the car.

The alley ended with a chain link fence, but Vin veered off to the right and ran parallel to it. Chris slammed the SUV to a halt and chased Vin on foot.

"Vin! Vin! Come back here!"

"Go to hell Larabee!" Vin shouted back.

Chris chased Vin for several more minutes. The younger man might have had more stamina, but Chris was faster and he hadn't been drinking that night like Vin had. He saw Vin duck into an alleyway, and he quickly ran down the one parallel to it, pressing himself flat at the end of it, lying in wait for Vin to run past.

He heard the sound of Vin's boots hitting the pavement, and held his breath as the younger man came closer. Vin ran out of the alleyway, stumbling as he rounded the corner. Chris's strong hands grabbed him and pulled him against the rough brick.

"Lookin' for anybody in particular, cowboy?"

"Chris! Let me go!" Vin shouted, struggling to break the older man's grip on him.

"No!" Chris yelled back. "Settle down and listen to me Vin! I think I finally figured out what's the matter with you. You think something's going on with me and JD, don't you?" Unable to help himself he laughed at the absurdity of the situation.

"You bastard!" Vin shouted. "You think it's all a big joke!"

"No Vin, no, I don't," Chris reassured hastily, becoming serious once again. He leaned in close to the younger man, forcing him to look deeply into his eyes. "It's not a joke at all Vin. I love you, and I don't want anybody else but you. JD was helping me with your Christmas present, and I was helping him with Buck's that's all."

"What?" Vin said, feeling his face start to flame with embarrassment. "But you lied yesterday, and said you weren't goin' to lunch, and so did JD, and then I saw the two of you..." His voice died as he looked back at Chris, recognition dawning in the bright, blue orbs.

"What were you doing Vin, spying on us?" Chris whispered huskily.

"No, it wasn't anything like that Chris," Vin said, shamefaced. "I forgot my wallet and went back to the office and then you two...."

"Left the office to go look at skis for Buck. That's what JD's giving him. JD's never skied before, and since I've been skiing for about as long as he's been alive, he asked me to help him pick out a pair for Buck."

Vin could only stare back at Chris, open-mouthed.

"It's all right Vin," Chris broke in. "Let's just forget about it, okay? It sounds like it was just a misunderstanding."

"Chris....I'm so embarrassed. I thought you....thought you didn't...."

"What? Didn't care?" Chris queried, running his hands over Vin's hair, stroking it softly. "Didn't love you? Vin, how could you ever think that for even a minute?" he asked softly.

"God Chris, I'm such an ass!"

"Well, I wouldn't go that far Vin," Chris said with a small smile. "And it's kind of nice to know that you're the jealous type," he joked.

"But what about JD?" Vin asked miserably.

"Guess you owe him an apology, huh cowboy?" Chris said gently.

"Yeah, him and Buck both." He looked down at the ground, unable to meet Chris's gaze. "I said some stupid stuff back there. Today at the ranch, too, Chris. I'm sorry."

"Vin, look at me," Chris commanded.

Vin slowly lifted his head and brought his burning gaze to Chris's face.

"I'm sorry too Vin. Sorry I lost my temper," Chris apologized, then pulled Vin into his arms and pressed a light kiss on his lips.

Vin crushed his lips eagerly to Chris's, deepening the kiss, opening his soft, full lips to allow the older man's tongue entrance to his mouth. Chris pulled Vin even closer, grinding his hardening cock into the younger man's groin area. Vin responded by rubbing himself back against Chris's body.

"Vin, I want you so bad," Chris moaned, moving down to nip at Vin's neck.

The sharpshooter titled his head to expose more of the soft flesh to Chris's razor sharp teeth, shivering in anticipation. "Let's go back to the ranch," Chris whispered hoarsely as he broke the passionate embrace. "We've got some making up to do," he teased coyly.

"Let's start right here," Vin said, sliding down onto his knees and tearing at Chris's zipper desperately. Before Chris could protest, Vin's hot, hard mouth was encircling his burgeoning cock, sucking it into submission.

"Oh God, Vin..." Chris panted, twisting his hands through the younger man's golden brown curls. "Not here, Vin...no...I...." He lost the will to speak as Vin dipped lower, gently suckling and mouthing his swollen balls.

"Vin...." he gasped as his knees turned to jelly. "Stop...please...."

Instead of obeying, the sharpshooter moved back to the engorged cock, plunging it into his mouth.

Chris reluctantly pushed Vin away from him and pulled him up, holding him tightly. "Vin, that was incredible," he panted, "but we can't do this out here, in the open. What if one of Denver's finest would come around that corner? I sure don't wanna be explaining this, do you?"

"You're right Chris," Vin agreed with a sigh. "I just need you Chris, I wanna be with you. I want to make up for all the stupid things I did today."

Chris's heart filled with even more love for the younger man. He hugged him tighter. "It's okay Vin, it was just a misunderstanding, like I said before. Come on, let's go home. We'll stretch out on my nice big bed and make love all night. If you're up to it, that is!" he teased jokingly. "You might pass out on me after all those beers."

Vin sobered at Chris's words. "Chris, I made such an ass out of myself at the party."

"Don't worry about it Vin. I'll explain things to the captain and AD Travis. You can call JD from the car and apologize to him and Buck, though."

"Okay," Vin said, pleased with Chris's solution.

Chris slipped an arm around Vin's shoulders to gently guide him back to the car. Vin climbed into the SUV, and reached for the cell phone, dialing JD's number. Chris waited outside to give him some privacy with the call, then the two men headed back to Chris's ranch house.

+ + + + + + +

Speeding toward the ranch house, Chris frantically tried to keep control of the SUV as Vin slowly worked the buttons open on his shirt, then placed icy cold kisses onto his neck and chest. He resisted the urge to stomp down on the brake, instead taking one hand off the steering wheel and gripping the back of Vin's head, pressing the urgent mouth lower.

"Oh...Vin...yes.....that feels so good," Chris moaned as the sharpshooter clamped his mouth around a nipple, grazing it lightly between his sharp teeth. He continued to lick and kiss his way down his chest and abdomen. Nimble fingers started moving down to his crotch, when Chris stopped him.

"Vin....Vin, if you don't stop I'm gonna wreck the car," Chris hissed. He didn't really want Vin to stop, but he was having trouble keeping his attention on the road as the sharpshooter moved down to explore the rest of his body.

Vin ignored him, tugging on the zipper and opening Chris's pants. He reache d in and pulled out Chris's semi-erect penis, staring up at his lover with a sly smile, just a split-second before he plunged his hungry mouth onto the stiffening organ.

Chris jerked into Vin's mouth, losing his concentration on the road and veering over the double yellow line. With an agonized groan, he pulled lightly on Vin's hair. "Vin, stop doing that, wait 'til we get home."

Vin lifted his head up, meeting Chris's burning gaze with a wide smile. "Yo u sure you want me to stop?" he teased, licking his lips.

"Hell no I don't want you to stop!" Chris growled. "But we'll never make it home in one piece if you don't. Just sit tight, I'll get us home fast," he promised.

+ + + + + + +

Twenty minutes later, he gunned the car up his driveway. He was so hot and hard it was the longest ride home of his life. Grabbing at his still undone pants, he raced into the house, Vin following on his heels. They barely mad e it into the front hall when Chris slammed the door shut and pushed Vin against it. He pressed himself against Vin, devouring the younger man's lip s with his own. His hot erection molded into Vin's groin as he deepened the kiss and leaned farther into the pliant body of his lover.

"Chris...." Vin moaned as he broke the kiss and reached for the older man. He yanked off Chris's coat and already unbuttoned shirt, leaving the taller man nearly naked before him.

"Not so fast Vin," Chris toyed, taking up the questing hands in one of his own, while letting his free hand tug at Vin's jacket and unbutton the younger man's shirt. He released Vin's hands and pulled the clothing the rest of the way off, then crushed his body against Vin's once more. Mouths locked together, bodies entwined, they slid down the door, onto the plush rug in the entryway.. Chris eased Vin underneath him, working to open his lover's pants. He slid the material down Vin's slim hips, stroking Vin's exposed cock with his hands, then moving his mouth over the swollen flesh, sucking at it greedily.

"Chris, stop....I'm gonna come..." Vin whimpered moments later. "Please...I want you....need you inside me.......now," he finished with a pleading whisper.

Chris looked down at the face of the man he loved, willing to give him anything he asked for. He stood up quickly, removing his shoes and pants, then kneeling down to help Vin tug off his own boots and pants. He smiled and winked at Vin, reaching into his coat pocket.

"Hand lotion?" Vin asked, looking at the small tube Chris held up triumphantly.

"Winter's hell on my hands Vin. Need to keep some lotion handy. Least that' s what I tell people anyway," he finished with a sly grin.

He started to pour lotion on his fingers, when Vin grabbed the tube out of his hands. "Let me Chris," he asked huskily, squeezing out a large dollop o f the creamy substance. He began to massage the lotion into Chris's cock, reveling the feel of the organ hardening beneath his hands. He slid his slickened fingers up and down the swollen length until Chris's was thrustin g desperately between his hands. Then he laid back onto the rug, spreading hi s legs wide.

"Take me Chris, now," he begged.

Chris's breath caught in his throat at the heavenly vision Vin made. His golden haired, blue eyed lover was laid bare before him, ready for Chris to love him. He leaned down and captured Vin's mouth, gently gracing his lover's soft lips with a tender kiss. Vin moaned beneath him, desperate for Chris to fill him with his hardened member. He raised his groin while reaching for Chris's buttocks, pulling the older man's cock down to rub against his own hot erection. Both men moaned into each other's mouths at the pleasurable sensation, grinding themselves deeply against one another.

"Chris.....Chris....I can't wait any longer," the younger man demanded.

"You don't have to," Chris answered with a lusty whisper, pulling himself away from Vin and quickly coating more of the lotion onto his cock. He fingered Vin's opening with a slick finger, penetrating the sensitive flesh , preparing the way for his throbbing manhood.

Vin twisted his body, pushing the finger further inside him. "More Chris, please....more," he panted.

Chris obliged, thrusting another finger inside him, then pushed Vin's legs up and apart and entered him slowly.

"Oh....God..." he choked out as Vin's moist, tight body surrounded him, squeezing his cock mercilessly.

Vin writhed beneath him, giving all of himself freely, relishing the feel o f Chris's big cock invading his body, claiming it for his own.

Chris tried to go slow, wanting to make lingering, passionate love to the younger man, but Vin had other ideas. Every thrust Chris made was deepened by Vin pressing his hands onto the larger man's buttocks, forcing his hips down to thrust even more intensely into the pliant body. Faster and faster Vin pressed until Chris was ramming into Vin with all the strength he possessed. He was afraid he was hurting the smaller man, but Vin was loving every minute of it, as witnessed by the rapt expression on his perfect face , mirroring the lust-filled blue eyes.

"Yes.....yes.....harder Chris..........fuck me...harder........oh..........oh...........God.......yes!" Vin screamed as his cock convulsed, shooting his hot liquid everywhere. Seeing Vin reach his climax caused Chris to fall over the edge and with one last powerful slam o f his hips, he climaxed, shooting his fiery juices into Vin. The sharpshooter closed his eyes, savoring the moment as he felt Chris unload himself into his body. Now they were truly one.

Chris lowered Vin's legs, then pulled out of his lover's body slowly, collapsing onto the rug next to him. Both men panted in unison as they smiled lovingly at each other. Chris reached out a hand, still trembling from the force of his orgasm, and ran it gently over Vin's sweat sheened chest, soothing the fevered skin.

"Vin," he began, once he was breathing normally again, "you're not going to leave me again are you?" He looked pleadingly into the other man's deep blu e eyes, hoping he knew the answer.

"I won't leave you Chris," Vin assured, rolling over to lay on top of the larger man's chest.

"Good," Chris whispered, snuggling Vin closer to him. "You know there's nothing going on with me and JD, right? You believe me and everything's fine?"

"I'd say it's a mite better than fine, cowboy," Vin said lifting his head and giving his lover a wicked grin. "Wouldn't you?"

"Yep, but I do have to tell you one thing Vin."

"What's that Chris?" Vin asked dreamily, head down again, already starting to slip away into a deep slumber.

"It's cold down here on the floor!" Chris exclaimed with a laugh, sitting u p so suddenly Vin yelped with surprise as he slipped off the older man's chest. Chris quickly grabbed and steadied him, then stood and pulled him to his feet.

"Race ya upstairs, last one up has to make breakfast!" he shouted playfully, already well ahead of Vin.

"Vin? Vin? Wake up," a soft voice called, trying to draw him out of his light sleep.

"Go 'way..." Vin mumbled, rubbing at his closed eyes sleepily. He rolled onto his side, burrowing farther down into the bedclothes.

"Time to get up cowboy, come on," the voice insisted, louder now. "Today's Christmas. You have to get up and open your presents."

Vin opened one eye to look at Chris blearily. "Come back to bed for a littl e while," he coaxed. "Part of your Christmas present is in here," he said wit h a twinkle in his now fully opened, but still sleepy, blue eyes.

"Much as the idea appeals to me right now cowboy," Chris said as he leaned in to nuzzle his stubbled face against Vin's neck, "I'm gonna have to insis t you get up and come outside with me," he whispered, giving him a quick kiss . "Come on, get dressed."

"Outside?" Vin grumbled as he got out of bed. "What's so important outside? " he frowned as he dressed.

"You'll just have to wait and see," Chris replied mysteriously. He grabbed Vin's hand and hustled the younger man down the stairs to put on their coats, then they headed outside. Chris was so excited, he couldn't wait to see Vin's face when he saw the magnificent animal that now belonged to him. He pulled the younger man toward the barn hurriedly and threw open the door s to the structure. He had placed the horse in the first stall so Vin would b e sure and see him first.

Vin looked at the horse in amazement, then stared back at Chris in stunned silence, his eyes as wide as saucers.

"Do you like him Vin?" Chris prodded softly.

"L-like him?" Vin stuttered. "He's mine?" he uttered in disbelief.

"Yep, he's all yours," Chris said, nodding proudly.

"He's beautiful Chris," Vin said quietly, walking dazedly over to the anima l and running his hands over his silky, ebony coat with awe.

"So are you Vin," Chris whispered breathlessly, watching happily as the younger man acquainted himself with his horse.

"What's his name Chris?" Vin asked, eyes shining as he looked at his lover.

"You name him Vin, whatever you want."

"Beauty."

"What's that?"

"Beauty," Vin repeated simply. "I'm gonna call him Beauty, 'cause he's the prettiest horse I've ever seen. And I own him," he whispered to himself softly, still in shock at the wonderful gifts Chris had given him this year .

First, the gift of his love, and secondly, this beautiful animal. It was almost too good to be true.

"Chris," he said, throat closing with emotion as he threw himself into the taller man's arms, "I love you Chris, and I love Beauty, but...but, I-I don't deserve this, it's too much...."

"Sshh Vin, don't say that, you deserve all this and more." He lifted the sharpshooter's head up gently, looking deeply into the blue eyes he had com e to love so much. "I love you, too, Vin, and I want you to be happy. Are you happy Vin?" he asked with a smile.

"Never been happier in my life than I am right now, cowboy," Vin replied with his own shy smile. "Matter of fact, if you come back inside with me, I can show you just how happy I am. Got a real special Christmas gift for ya, too."

"I already have the best gift of all Vin," Chris murmured to himself, befor e kissing the younger man softly and allowing himself to be led back into the house.
