AU DESCRIPTION:

Created by Charlotte Hill, this universe is called the Tour de Force.

This is a present day alternate universe in which the Seven are members of a professional cycling team (along the lines of US Postal with Lance Armstrong, who just won the Tour de France).

THE MAIN CHARACTERS:

• Chris is, of course, the team leader, the man most likely to wear the yellow jersey when the team rides in the Tour de France.

• Buck and Vin are domestiques, "big rollers" who support the team leader in all his chases for victory.

• Ezra is a sprinter and time trialist, where speed, strength, and form matter.

• JD is the rookie of the bunch, and this is his first time with a pro team of this status; his light build and weight make him a fantastic climber.

• Josiah, an ex-cyclist who rode with a Tour de France-winning European team a few years back, is the "director sportiff," the team manager.

• Nathan is the team's sports doctor and medic.

• "Judge" Orin Travis, a Texas millionaire and owner of Four Corners Oil, is the main financial backer for the team, called Four Corners-Clarion.

• Mary Travis is the owner of the Clarion newspaper and helps with the team's publicity. Her husband, now deceased, was a winning cyclist and she and her father-in-law have a desire to continue that history.

• Other OMCs or series characters fill out the cycling team's riders.

NOTE:

The establishing story is currently being written by Charlotte Hill, the creator of the AU, and has not yet been posted anywhere.

As such, Saddle Sore may end up contradicting elements in Charlotte's establishing story and, therefore, it should not be viewed as "canon" for this alternate universe.
