And so, this story was born…

I'd like to dedicate it to all my list sibs on the Hetfic list. Pretty bad when you have to bring your own gift to your birthday party… <<giggle>>

The four horses came to a stop outside the cabin and Buck was the first one down from his mount. He sidled up to the lady and offered her that cocky, wicked smile... the one that made her melt.

They both knew it, too...

"Can I help you down, Cassie," the rogue asked coyly.

Grinning from ear to ear, the woman was forced to look away. She bit her lip in an effort NOT to say what kind of 'down' she was interested in at that very moment.

"He bothering you again?" Chris questioned as he dismounted and began to untie his pack.

Cassandra couldn't help but glance in Larabee's direction. "Only when I want him to," she answered from downcast eyes. Yet, when her bright blue pools met the blond's again, there was a mischievous sparkle in them, too. "Only when I want any of you to..."

The lingering silence was broken as the woman giggled. It was hard to restrain any response when Wilmington decided to drag her from her saddle.

"We brought you up here so's each of us could spend a little time with ya," the rogue held her in his arms. "Not so you could keep on playin' this little game of yours."

Ezra would be proud of the poker face displayed by the woman as she gazed around at her three companions. "Game!" she questioned. "Why, Buck... I don't know WHAT you mean."

A loud huff from Tanner broke another silence and the three watched as the tracker headed into the cabin.

Walking up beside her, Chris looked at his oldest friend questioningly before focusing on the woman. "You been teasing the three of us for far too long now, Cass."

Turning to face the blond, she relinquished Wilmington's arms and crossed her own. She simply stared at the cool green eyes as Larabee continued.

"We told you before... You have to choose."

"Yeah," Vin added as he joined the trio again. The men now formed a triangle around the woman, effectively cutting off any escape she may have planned.

Lowering her chin, the lady stared at the ground intently. There was silence before she spoke. "And, suppose I don't want to," she questioned quietly.

It was Wilmington's turn to huff aloud. "Now, Cassie... that may be all well and good from your point of view. But, girl... you got 'a think about us for a minute, here. What the heck do you expect the other two to do when you pick one of us for the night and go off ta have a little fun."

The lady met Buck's gaze as he continued.

"You can't tease... and then leave a man high and dry like that... it just aint right... let alone nice."

Without a second thought, Cassandra's hand rose to settle on the rogue's cheek. "What do I expect the other two to do?" she repeated his words quietly. For a long moment she held his dark blue eyes in hers, then, without any warning, she turned her back to him and curled her body into his. With her back again his stomach, she drew Buck's big strong arms around her and looked intently at the other two men. "Join in," she whispered calmly.

Tanner's reaction was instantaneous. He stifled back a snort and turned away to hide any successive response.

Larabee's eyes grew wide as his mouth dropped open. Clearly, he was surprised by the revelation, and just as obviously, had no idea what to say...

Wilmington, however, had plenty to say. Retrieving his arms from around the woman's body, he turned her to face him. "You... ain't serious?" he questioned, his facade bunched up in confusion. "Please, tell me you ain't serious."

The other two men turned slowly to hear the woman's answer as she turned to look at the three men. Another moment of silence passed as the gentle breeze offered the only audible sound. "I am..." she answered before turning to walk away...

While she was off wandering the mountainside, the agents unpacked in silence. None of them quite knew what to say, although they were all thinking the same thing...

Menage a trois... with extra's... NO WAY!!!

"What the hell are we supposed ta do now?" Wilmington finally blurted out.

Larabee looked up from his pack and eyed the rogue curiously.

"Be glad we didn't bring the whole damn team along," Tanner murmured from the other side of the room.

Buck's lips pursed, completely un-amused by the tracker's wit, "Hah Hah!" he added, just to make his point clear.

"Don't know what the hell you're so upset about," Larabee growled. "You're the one that brought her into our office in the first place."

The rogue narrowed his eyes and looked at his oldest friend, "And, just how was I supposed to know it was like lettin' a wildcat loose in the hen house?"

"You couldn't tell?" Chris glared

"She got a little too much 'animal magnetism' for ya, Buck?" Tanner quipped again.

Wilmington snorted before glaring, "Hell, you know as much about that as I do, Vin," he retorted. "Seems ta me you was plum wore out when you came back from that last campin' trip."

The tracker closed the icebox and turned to look at the taller man. He thought on his words carefully before speaking, "Fresh air brings out a whole different side 'a her."

As he watched the eye contact between his two friends, Larabee couldn't help but close his own. He took a deep breath and sighed heavily, "Lots of 'fresh air'... way up here in the mountains," he added quietly.

Wilmington shook his head, "Oh that's just great," he slapped his sides.

"What's the matter, Buck?" Larabee turned to his oldest friend. "I ain't never seen you this upset about the prospect of spending a long weekend with a lovely lady between the sheets."

"Ain't the lady I'm thinkin' on," the rogue snapped back. "Just weren't plannin' on sharin', is all... Let alone, all at once."

"Come on," Vin exited the kitchen area and planted himself on the dusty old couch. "You don't think she's serious about... that?"

Breaking the ensuing silence, Chris sat down in the big armchair. He watched as Buck leaned against the other chair and frowned. "How long's it been since we found out she was playing us all?"

"About a month... I reckon."

Wilmington glanced at Tanner and nodded his agreement to Chris. "Sounds about right," he added.

"And, in that month," Larabee continued, "None of us have been with her?"

The other two men indicated their agreement.

"Shit," the blond cussed. "That's got 'a mean she's serious."

"Been a whole month?" Vin added.

"When before... she was doing all of us?" Buck added questioningly.

Larabee and Tanner nodded their concurrence slowly.

"What the hell are we gonna do?" Wilmington repeated again...

The tracker sat with his head in his hands. Leaning forward on the sofa, he finally looked at Buck. "You ever done anythin' like... that?"

Wilmington's eyes refocused from the far-off look he had been sporting. "Uh?"

Chris had caught on to Vin's question quicker than his oldest friend had. "Yeah," he slouched back in the chair, "he has!"

The rogue exchanged a sly look with Larabee. "That was a long time ago, Chris," he acknowledged. "We weren't more than... What?" he shrugged, "Nineteen."

"Twenty," Larabee answered

"WE?" Tanner blurted out. The blond and the rogue exchanged knowing looks as Vin eyed them suspiciously. "You two ain't seriously gonna sit there and tell me you... you SHARED!"

"Was a long time ago, Vin," Chris tried to reassure the tracker.

"You two been naked... together?"

"Now, you hold up there, Vin," Wilmington objected. "Don't you go readin' nothin'... irregular inta this..."

"In the same bed... with the same woman?"

Larabee shot Tanner a glare worthy of any he could bestow. "We... shared..." he spat out cautiously, "But, it was never meant ta happen."

"Was just one of them wild... crazy things people get up to when they had too much ta drink."

"Damn good thing we didn't pack that beer, then... ain't it?" Vin got to his feet nervously.

"Weren't no bed though," Chris smirked, his voice growing quiet. "Didn't quite make it... as far as the bedroom..."

In a moment enveloped by recollection, Buck's face drew itself into a sly happy grin. The far-away look in his eyes, clearly expressed the memory as a happy one. "Never knew how sexy a bear skin rug could be before that..."

There was a quiet moment as Chris and Buck exchanged a knowing smile.

"THAT'S IT!" Tanner headed for the door leaving two smiling friends in his wake.

Brushing down her horse, Cassandra glanced up as Vin appeared at the doorway.

The tracker cocked his head, obviously dismayed, and headed off towards the cliffs.

The lady frowned for a moment before smiling. Somewhere, deep inside, she knew the men had been batting her 'proposal' around. She wasn't surprised to see Tanner storm off like that. He was the quiet reserved one of the three. The one that would have to be convinced to 'participate'…

If the 'event' ever happened…

"Damn!" she cussed, the word barely audible. She continued to brush the horse as she considered how all of this had begun.

The night she'd met Buck at the saloon had been a wild one, no doubt about it. She was the new waitress and Wilmington… well; he was his 'normal' roguish self. The catalyst, which set the flame burning, was most certainly their comparable personalities... both of them confrontational, on that, oh so seductive level… both challenging, and neither willing to back down.

The resulting fireworks were beyond colorful…

They'd barely made it through her door before Cass had pinned the much bigger rogue to the wall. She'd unbuttoned his shirt with her mouth alone. An action that was so unbelievably teasing that the man's desire grew exponentially as each clasp released. The growl that finally escaped Wilmington's lips was wanton and incredibly explicit in its message. Then, he'd swept her up in his arms and taken her mouth with his…

They'd both panted for much needed air as the embrace ended at her beckoning. Her nails on his bare skin were reason enough for Buck to toss her over his shoulder. As he search for her bedroom door in the small apartment, the ladies' man kicked off his own shoes while moving across the floor. Cassie's fell in their path as he urged them from her feet. The restrained fight expressed didn't deter him in the slightest.

Finally, having found the room of his desire, Wilmington settled the lady on the bed. He followed her reclining body with his, resting carefully atop her tiny frame. They kissed again… long and hard. But, this time, Buck managed to catch her hands before they went for his back.

"My turn," he whispered, drawing his head back to look into her sky blue eyes. And, with that declaration, he sank his experienced mouth to her neck.

Cassandra's eyes fluttered closed as her body responded to the man's knowledgeable touch. The tingling sensations shooting down her spine were incomparable to the warm radiating from her body… or the intimate need, growing steadily in the depths of her soul.

Yet, both man and woman still fought for control…

As the deep growl erupted from her lungs, Cass pushed hard against the arms that held her down. She desperately wanted up… wanted to strip this man of his overpowering allure and force him down, as he had done her…

'Want to strip him… and force him down…'

With all her strength mustered, the woman lifted her legs high enough to cause a whiplash effect. Using the extra momentum, she pushed Buck away. His surprise also allowed one hand to slip free from his grasp.

"Well, now," Wilmington hissed sensually as he looked at the woman, now sitting before him. "Are we gonna… fight each other, all night long… or are we gonna… do somethin' a little more useful… with all this pent-up energy?"

Glancing at the smug, coy, irresistible look in the rogue's eyes, Cassandra maneuvered her fingers through his.

Buck allowed the manipulations of their still joined hands.

Climbing to her knees, Cass used her free hand walk a path up his bare chest before she closed the distance between them. "Fighting could be fun," she whispered. Fluttering her lips over his, she nibbled at them, causing the rogue's breath to catch. "Something… a little more useful… sounds interesting, too"

Two sets of clamped hands stretched far from their bodies as their lips met in the most tempting of kisses… Slow, tender and inconceivably burning in its passion and want.

Oh, yeah! Cassie thought. The resulting fireworks were definitely… beyond colorful…

Letting her horse join the others, the lady closed the gate and watched the animals cluster in the shade of the trees at the far end of the corral. She smiled as she considered the simple camaraderie the beasts had. Not unlike another group, she had recently met…

The day her world, got a whole lot more complicated…

Cass and Buck had been seeing each other on and off for a couple of months. Their 'encounters' usually happened when they were in the mood for something 'a little out-of-the ordinary'. Both seemed to enjoy the robust nature of their interludes… as well as the tenderness of the occasional, more sedate, 'morning-after' sessions.

When Wilmington's boss wasn't bothering him that was!

Then came that fateful day… His worked was getting in the way again!

"Where the hell are you, Buck Wilmington," the voice was playful as Cassandra stepped off the elevator and entered the offices of Team Seven.

"Something I can help you with, Ma'am?" the older distinguished man asked as he emerged from the lunchroom.

The woman eyed the sparkling pools below the graying hair and she smiled cordially before her gaze drifted to the much younger, dark haired man that followed right behind him.

"What'd Buck do now?" the younger one quipped with a grin.

"Not much… in the last week," Cass replied coyly, her blue reflections focused on the man who had asked.

The older man tried, unsuccessfully, to hide his smirk.

"Thought I'd take… the issue… up with his boss," she continued, now looking at the grinning man. "That wouldn't happen to be you, now would it?"

The tilt of his head was slight. "No, Ma'am," he indicated. "Josiah Sanchez is the name. This here's JD Dunne."

Nodding at her courteous smile, the kid pointed to the rooms in the back. "Our boss's office is over there, but I wouldn't go back there if I were you…"

The other members of the team had offered the same advice as Cassie was introduced to each one of them. They all appeared to either have enormous respect for their 'boss', or, they cared enough about their own safety that they allowed his every wish.

Even then, Vin Tanner had snorted at 'the lady's' 'interruption' of their 'working relationship'.

But, his sense of humor wasn't the only thing that sparked the lady's interest. From the wisps of his long, light brown hair to the lean, well-built frame and right back up to the cool blue of the sharpshooter's eyes…

Heck! What wasn't there that didn't set off those alarm bells?

Their matching reflections had held each other far too long…

But, that should only have been true if Cass and Buck were in a relationship. And, neither of them was willing to make that declaration…

Hence, the lady had made that first call.

Tanner insisted that they could only meet for coffee… "Ain't right fer a man to be seen with a friend's girl…"

No one ever saw them!

And, in Vin Tanner's arms, Cassandra let herself go… His calm, unassuming, and gentle way brought out those feelings in her. Brought out the lady she concealed deep inside…

Oh, but there was that 'boss' again…

If he didn't have one of his 'agents' looking after something, then he had them both off 'doing their jobs'. Now, it wasn't as though Cass had no respect for working. She held her own job and excelled at it. She had considerable respect for both Wilmington and Tanner. Their dedication to a dangerous job was more than admirable.

It was just the over-time, late night 'emergencies' and early morning 'reminders' that drove the woman to distraction.

At least she'd bothered to knock before barging in…

"Who the hell are you," Larabee had glared from behind his desk.

"Well," she closed the door. "I could say, your worst nightmare," she shrugged. Walking to the two chairs in front of the desk, the woman stood between them, running her fingers lightly over their surfaced. "But, that would be an awful clique," she sighed.

Chris frowned. "Is there a… reason… for you being here, Miss?"

"Oh, please," she responded rather curtly. "Miss implies a certain… innocence… don't you think?"

Settling back into his chair, the blond folded his arms across his chest. "And… you ain't innocent?" he questioned, the sarcasm strong in his voice.

Sky blue eyes met the green of Chris Larabee's stare… and held it for far too long… "Care to find out?"

It took a week, and the usual background checks, but he'd finally accepted the challenge that had tempted the core of his being.

Always the cautious, responsible one, Chris had made himself clear before entering her apartment. "Seems you checked out," he'd offered as an explanation for his presence.

"Guess that means you can… associate with me, then?"

The door closed slowly, confining the two to her apartment… 'To find out'.

~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~
Cass took a deep breath as she turned from the corral and focused on the small cabin. Her lips pursed as she considered the two men inside. A sly grin appeared as she thought of them… alone… just waiting…
Shrugging off the very idea of going in there right now and doing whatever she wanted with them, the lady shook her head. She doubted they'd object. Wilmington and Larabee were so unbelievably different in all the right ways… and so unbelievably alike in the best ways.
Yet, for all the characteristics that made her 'want' these two, Cassandra 'needed' the third just as much…
The lady took another long breath before heading off towards the cliffs.
Walking the short distance shouldn't have taken as long as it did, but the closer she got to the edge of wooded area, the slower her steps became. There, opening up before her eyes, was the most gorgeous sunset imaginable. The slight pink of the upper skyline was deepening into the most incredible dark reddish hue. The sheer depth and scale of the image as it reached the distant horizon was beyond magnificent… a once in a lifetime scene, for a lucky few.
"Pretty… ain't it?"
Cassie's stare was pulled from the imagery by Tanner's quiet whisper. She turned slightly and slid into his arm as he gently wrapped the limb around her. "God, Vin…" she replied quietly. "Just look at it, will ya. Makes me wonder how I ever got by… not being out here in the wilderness… with you," she snuggled against his chest.
"Gotta love what nature can dish out… all the good, right along with the bad."
"Good," she looked up into his eyes questioningly. "Vin, this is great… wonderful," she looked back at the setting sun. "The most magnificent thing I've ever witnessed."
Tanner nodded slowly but didn't answer. Gradually, he pulled away and moved over to a small log to sit down.
The woman frowned. "What's wrong?" she asked, cautiously following him.
The sharpshooter closed his eyes. "Can't get this out 'a my head, Cass," he looked up into her sparkling blue eyes. "You had this all planned, didn't ya? You knew when Chris told us we was comin' out here, you knew what you wanted ta happen."
Sitting down beside Tanner, the lady sighed as she set her hand on his knee. She looked out at the sunset, her head slowly shaking back and forth. "No… I didn't know what I wanted… until the moment I said it," she squeezed his thigh.
Vin closed his eyes briefly before gazing across at her. "I always knew you was still seein' Buck," he admitted. "Just… couldn't bring maself ta… break it off."
Cassandra turned to meet his eyes.
"I know you ain't interested in anythin'… long-term. Hell… think I knew that from the start." Pursing his lips, Vin continued after a deep sigh, "Seems you made me break a lot 'a rules I set out for maself.
"Do you resent me for that?"
Tanner shook his head.
"Are you angry that I… can't choose?"
Taking her hand from his knee, Vin held it tightly and pulled it to his lips. "Can't," he kissed her fingers, "Or… won't?"
Cass was at a loss for words. She continued to meet his eyes for several long seconds before refocusing on the sunset. Her gaze was longing… as though she desperately hoped to find the words she need in the wonders of nature.
And then, it came to her… "Would you give up the wilderness, Vin?" she turned back to look into his sparkling blue orbs. "Never come out here again, if I said I didn't want you to."
It was the sharpshooter's turn to frown. "What?" he murmured. "What's that got to do…"
"Don't think on it, Vin, yes or no? Would you never come out here again if I asked you to?"
His head shook before the reply breached his lips, "No."
She smiled. Her head nodded gently, "Yeah, that's what I thought."
"I don't understand," clearly, he was puzzled.
"Can't… or won't?" she repeated his words.
Releasing her hands, Vin was really confused. "I ain't followin' yer meanin', Cass," he scowled. "I would never make that choice. It ain't a matter of can't or won't. I love it out here. You know that. There's a piece 'a ma soul out here. A piece 'a me that would die… if I never came back."
"So…" she met his gaze once more, "Can't and won't… become one in the same?"
A thousand words passed between them in a moment of unrelenting eye contact.
The silence lingered long after Vin gained his feet and turned away…
Long after Cassandra joined him, her arms wrapped around his waist from behind.
With her temple pressed tightly against his back, the lady finally spoke, "You are all… special to me, Vin…" she closed her eyes. "Each of you brings out something special in me… something special that I only show, the one I'm with."
Slowly, Tanner figured he might be understanding what she was trying to say. "You tryin' ta tell me you can't choose because… we all give you somethin' different?" Shaking his head, the sharpshooter loosened her hold and turned, her arms still held within his grasp.
"Each part is different… but they are all part of me."
"And, you wanna show us that… by bein' with all of us at once…?"
"Sounds WAY too serious an explanation, if you ask me," Wilmington blurted out as he came out of the tree line.
"Yep," Larabee agreed as he followed.
The sharpshooter looked at his fellow agents suspiciously. "Just how long you two been standin' there?"
"Long enough," Chris looked at his younger friend solemnly.
"So… you two are willin' to go along with this… idea?" Tanner stuttered out the question.
"No harm in tryin'," Larabee cocked his head.
"The more the merrier," Wilmington added with a grin.
Tanner's eyebrows rose questioningly, "Just ain't natural."
"Lots 'a things fall into that category, son," Buck quipped as he moved to stand between Vin and Cass. "But, as far as I can tell… improvements on nature have taken us a long way."
Ignoring the hand that had been slapped on his shoulder, Vin watched Cass retreat back to the trees. "Where you goin'?"
"To cook us up some supper," she called back without stopping. "Figure we'd better eat before we get to it."
"Can I help?" Buck's eyebrows rose as he darted after the lady.
"Whatever," was her fading reply.
As he watched the rogue chase after Cassandra, Vin slowly shook his head. He glanced at Larabee, noticing straight away that the man wasn't returning his stare. "You believe her, Chris?" he finally asked.
"Believe her?" the blond repeated. "About the idea… or not being able to make a choice?"
Tanner shook his head; "No… about wanting to be with all of us, so we can see… how different she can be."
Larabee forced the air from his lungs as his lips pouted. He cocked his head, "Suppose the idea had some merit."
"Then you do believe her?"
"Does it really matter, Vin?" Chris turned to face his best friend.
"Yeah, it matters," Tanner protested. His gaze focused on the blond and he bit his lip. "Shit, Chris… one woman and… the three of us…"
For a long moment, Larabee simply stared. He knew he recognized doubt, but there was something else in Vin's eyes… Something he rarely saw. "Which part bothers you, Vin," he asked pointedly. "The one woman… or the three of us together… with her."
"Ain't natural," the sharpshooter shot back quickly.
"Neither is shower call at boot camp… but we both done that."
"That's different!"
"Why?"
"Cause we… weren't…"
"Engaging…"
"Yeah!"
Several minutes passed before Larabee set his hand on the younger man's shoulder. "Vin," he prompted.
Slowly, Tanner turned.
Removing the outstretched limb, Chris set the wayward hand in his pocket as he looked into his friend's eyes. "You and I both know that Buck ain't gonna be touching anyone but Cass."
Vin pursed his lips knowingly.
"And… Well, you are cute and all…" he teased.
The ice broken, Tanner shook his head laughingly. "Aw, hell, Chris… you know I didn't mean it like that."
"I know…" Larabee replied quickly. "So…" he changed the subject just as quickly, "Shall we go see what those two are up to?"
As he followed his best friend towards the trees, Tanner frowned, "Do we REALLY want to know?"
~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~ 7 ~~~~~~~

Vin stood in the doorway and watched Cassie and Chris cleaning up the dishes. It had been a typical 'camping' meal. This was probably the only thing the four of them had in common… they all enjoyed the simple things. This cabin sure fit that category, alright. Eyeing the log timbers, Vin ran his hand down the doorframe.

Maybe this is all his fault!

The sharpshooter had brought Larabee here when they'd first got to know each other. He'd happened upon this hunter's cabin on an outing one year and, taking down the owner's name, Vin had contacted them about using the place. He'd been coming here on and off for quite a while now. Introducing Chris to the quiet surrounding had seemed a natural thing to do.

The cabin was about as rustic as they came. Out here in the mountains, there was no heat, electricity, or even running water. When you opted to stay here, you were completely self-sufficient… just like the pioneers had been some hundred or more years ago. Vin liked the simplicity… and the quiet…

Laughter from the kitchen area brought Tanner back to reality. He watched as Chris scowled at Cassie for flicking bubbles at his nose. Somewhere, deep down inside, Vin couldn't help remembering what the lady had said earlier. 'Each of you brings out something special in me… something special that I only show, the one I'm with…'

Maybe… he thought

Wilmington had heard the commotion, too. From the small couch, he turned from his book to look at the 'dishwashers'. Shaking his head at their playfulness, Buck got to his feet and headed for the door. "Damn," he cussed, excusing himself past the sharpshooter.

"Somethin' wrong?" Vin frowned.

The rogue grinned mischievously, "Not that I can see," he cocked his head toward the kitchen.

Tanner still didn't understand what his friend meant. "They're makin' fun out 'a work," he noted the 'game' being played out.

It was Wilmington's turn to frown. "Hell, son… That ain't no game…" he grinned. Nodding knowingly, Buck excused himself.

Vin watched his friend disappear before turning to see Cassandra tracing bubbly wet fingers down the side of Larabee's face. Chris didn't appear to object, in fact, he seemed to be liking the attention. Tanner glanced away when he saw the blond take the lady in his arms and start to kiss her.

He took a long deep breath as one single thought ran through his mind. If I can't even watch them kiss… how the hell am I supposed ta watch them…?

"You're gonna do just fine," Wilmington offered as he returned to see Vin running his fingers through his hair.

Pouted lips greeted the rogue as Tanner looked up and exhaled that same long deep breath. His questioning eyes met Buck's, "How can you say that?" he wondered.

Once more, Wilmington cocked his head. "You're thinkin' too much, pard." Setting his hand on Vin's shoulder, he squeezed it reassuringly. "Stop thinkin'… and just go with the flow…" Glancing back inside to see Chris and Cass involved in a wanton kiss, Buck slapped his hands together and rubbed them back and forth. "And, right now," he stepped past his friend, "That's exactly what I intend to do… My wildcat awaits…"

"Wildcat?" Tanner repeated questioningly as Buck ventured inside.

"Hey," Wilmington interrupted, "Where's mine?"

Chris broke off their kiss and looked at Cassandra. His face was deadpan before he shrugged. "I'll go dump the water," he offered.

The lady smiled, unwrapping her arms from behind the blond's neck. "Don't be long," she whispered.

As soon as she was 'unlatched', Buck wasted little time. Grabbing hold of one arm as it settled to her side, the rogue spun her around, applying a quick kiss to her surprised expression.

"Buck Wilmington!" Cass complained, her hands now drifting downward to take hold of each cheek.

"Yes, Darlin'," he grinned innocently.

Squeezing their bodies together tightly, the coy look on her face told the whole story. Her eyebrows rose as she purred, "You don't waste any time," she nudged the hardness growing between his legs.

"Never," he replied seductively. "You know me… Always ready, willing and… more than able." His grin softened as he leaned down to kiss her. Their mouths touch briefly before his tongue darted out to parts her lips. The process repeated once more… and then again.

A low growl erupted from the lady as she forced their mouths together, sucking back Wilmington's tongue in the process. The embrace was hard as the couple rearranged their mouths several times, almost fighting for position. Yet, their lips never separated… not once.

Across the room, Larabee sidled up beside his best friend, the two empty wash basins, now drying in his hands. "Umm," he observed. A sly smile written all over his face as he glanced at the couple in the kitchen. "That didn't take long?"

Tanner raised an eyebrow, "Nope," was all he could say.

A playful scream drew their attention and they both looked up in time to see Buck lift the lady in the air. Cassandra's legs wrapped solidly around the rogue's waist as she came down.

"You coming in?" Larabee moved passed his companion. "Getting a little chilly out there."

Taking the hint, Vin nodded and secured the door as he followed Chris inside. "I'll… start the fire," he offered as the blond made his way back to the kitchen. Truth be told, the sharpshooter was looking for a little distraction.

Chris smiled as Tanner headed to the opposite end of the cabin. He understood the younger man's need for a diversion more than he was willing to admit. But, right now, he was just going to play along. After all, he'd felt a few familiar 'needs' of his own.

"You let them damn claws back in slow, girl," Buck advised as he sat Cassie on the wide, upright back of the couch.

The lady played innocent, her expression worthy of any actress.

"Nice and slow," the rogue repeated… "That's it… nice and slow."

"You're not getting soft on me, are you?"

Wilmington's lip curled as he nudged his groin into hers. "What do you think?"

Cass licked her lips so provocatively that Buck had to clear his throat.

"So…" Larabee moved around the sofa and settled himself on one knee opposite the couple. "What'd I miss?"

Leaning backwards, the lady's eyes had wavered from Wilmington's deep blue pools and were now transfixed on pretty green. Letting go of Buck's shoulder, she reached her left hand to the blond's cheek and caressed it gently.

As she came to him, Chris took her upper body in his arms as their lips met. The kiss was brief, but all too intense.

"Nothing you can't catch up on," Cass whispered.

"I can see that," Chris leaned in to kiss her again.

With her legs still wrapped tightly around Wilmington's waist on the backside of the sofa, the lady relinquished control of her upper body to Larabee.

The blond held her as though he would never let go. Their kiss continued and strengthened…

Her body was twisted, but not uncomfortably, and certainly not in a way that was distracting. In fact, she barely noticed her position until Buck's nimble fingers edged the shirt from her waistband, running those same digits, slowly along her tender curves. The tingle made her giggle before a growl emanated from her mouth.

Larabee frowned and eyed the woman.

"Not you, cowboy," she hissed, turning her head to glare at the man who now teased the material over her pert nipples. "You're distracting me," she complained.

"Is that so?" the rogue questioned. "Sorry about that," he licked at his lips beguilingly. "I'll be good. You go right on with what you were doin'." His hands still cupped each breast, but the fingertips were motionless.

Cassandra's eyes narrowed suspiciously, but Chris shifted his body closer creating sufficient diversion. He leaned in to nibble at her earlobe.

The woman's eyes fluttered as the activity sent a wave of pleasure coursing through her body. Her head dropped back, resting on Larabee's forearm.

Wilmington smirked at his oldest friend and motioned towards Cassie's torso.

Glancing sideways, Chris frowned questioningly.

His gaze narrowed and again, Buck indicated the woman, but this time he gently massaged the breast in each hand.

Larabee understood this time. Without breaking lip contact with her neck and lobes, Chris reached behind the lady and carefully unclipped her bra. The movement was so smooth and the touch so gently that Cassie took little notice.

Mission accomplished, the blond went back to his previous task.

Free to do as he pleased, Wilmington returned his focus to the outstretched torso. His hands made short work of the buttons of her pale blue shirt.

Cassandra's attention was drawn as Buck pushed her bra up, effectively exposing the roundness of her breasts to the cool air. Her head turned towards Wilmington and her mouth hung open for several long seconds. She appeared to be about to say something… But, Chris put an end to that idea, clamping his mouth over the open one, his tongue driving deep, searching out a companion to play with.

Cassie's response was quick and sure. Her mouth savored the intruder and made it welcome, her lips wrapped tightly around their companions. So, too, did wayward arms, pulling Chris closer and closer, until he was barely able to keep her from falling.

Curling a pert nipple between each finger and thumb, Buck was enjoying the squirming going on before him. The lady fought for breath between fevered kisses, yet, always sought out Larabee's supple lips and tongue, almost begging for more. Her arms pawed at his clothing, one hand hidden somewhere in the blond's shirt. Her hips wiggled as her body ached towards… and then away from Wilmington's manipulations. No mistake about it, Cass was becoming VERY aroused…

Recognizing that fact, and the predicable reaction he knew, at least he was having, Buck prepared to increase the pace. Relinquishing his touch on the soft mounds, he traced a path, painfully slow, down towards her waist. Reaching the belt buckle, the rogue undid it quickly, making fast work on the button and zipper, too.

"No," Cass panted as she pulled away from Larabee. Using every ounce of abdominal strength that she possessed, she pulled herself back to a sitting position. "No," she whispered again, her hands playing in Wilmington's hair.

Buck would be the first man to respect her wishes, if he truly believed them to be what she really wanted. But, the rogue knew better. Cassie often protested… a common ploy to take control when he held the upper hand. He tested her resolve, "Why?" he asked breathlessly. Their eyes held each other for several long seconds before Wilmington saw the glint. He smiled before leaning down to kiss her. But, this embrace was like none other that had been exchanged so far. It was exquisitely tantalizing as their mouths caressed, lips enticing each other, but not quite letting go. Tongues lingering, never brazen in their action. Arms, too, matched the embrace. They explored energetically… the rogue's feeling their way around her ribcage, and holding on tight. Cassie's limbs dove under her partner's and drew his mouth closer to hers.

The kiss lasted an eternity and was broken only when a low-pitched whine forced its way from the woman's lungs. Her head dropped back, her eyes tightly close.

With his mouth now resting against her exposed neck, Buck spoke in a deep, incredibly sexy voice. "No?" he repeated questioningly.

Cassandra's hands snaked their way to Buck's head and took a handful of his hair. She tugged it playfully, his head lifting away from her body in response. The lady bit a lip wantonly as their eyes locked. She nodded the, yes Buck was looking for before blue eyes fluttering closed; the tall rogue lifting her in the air, once more.

"You comin'?" Wilmington asked of Chris as he carried the woman towards the waiting mattresses.

Vin had been sitting quietly by the large stone hearth. He'd tried hard not to pay too much attention to the occasional moans coming from the other end of the cabin, preferring to concentrate on tending the fire instead. Footsteps drew his focus now and he looked up to see Buck and Chris heading his way. A very quiet Cass was cuddled in the tall rogue's arms, her shirt, clearly unfastened. The sharpshooter glanced at the mattresses laid out in front of him. They had been sheeted and the four sleeping bags were sprawled out haphazardly on top.

"Stand back, boys," Wilmington warned as he knelt down on the closest mattress.

"What happened?" Vin asked, concern in his voice.

"Ooh… just a little 'warming up'," Chris offered reassuringly.

"If I know my girl," Buck smirked, "things are about to get a whole lot warmer." As he spoke the words, he leaned forward, gently easing Cassandra to the mattress.

The woman stretched as though she'd been asleep. Arms rose high above her head. Legs released the rogue's waist and toes pointed intensely on either side of his body.

Tanner couldn't help notice her shirt flip open as Cassie rolled to one side, still 'stretching'. Soft breasts were exposed as the blue material fell and the bra no longer held its charge. Vin licked his lips quickly, then tried to hide his reaction.

"She sure is alluring," Chris whispered for the sharpshooter's ears only.

A slow nod was his only reply.

Sky blue eyes popped open and stared mischievously at Wilmington.

He saw the reflections but couldn't move quick enough to avoid her legs as they clamped his waist. Cassandra continued the roll she had originally started in her stretch; Buck landing randomly as she released his body and got to her knees.

Chris and Vin exchanged stunned looks; clearly, neither had witnessed or experienced such a move.

Wilmington recovered his place, laughing softly as he adjusted his position to kneel in front of her. "Bravo," he complimented. "Didn't see that one comin'."

Cassie reached for his shirt and slowly began to unbutton it. She pushed herself towards him, their lips teasing one another, but never quite completing the embrace. The last button undone, the lady began to pull the cloth from his waist.

"Oh, no you don't," Buck took hold of her hands. Planting a big kiss square on her lips, the rogue drew his arms up quickly and down slowly, removing Cass's shirt with the motion. He pulled away, giving her a smug 'got ya' look. As the shirt slipped from her arms, Wilmington tossed it aside before reaching up to remove the last piece of material from her body.

The woman showed little objection as the bra slipped off her limbs and was set aside. Nevertheless, she paid close attention as Buck's large hands reached for the curve of her breast. The fingers caressed the fullness, working purposeful circles around the orbs. Nipples responded to the feather light touch and stood proudly, awaiting their attention.

Gazing at the closed eyes, Wilmington smiled, reassured that what he was doing was desired. He leaned down and blew gently, grinning as Cassie's breath caught. Without making any other body contact, the experienced rogue flicked his tongue across a responsive bud. He alternated, giving both, equal attention.

An all too familiar growl slowly built in the lady's lungs as she pushed ever closer, with no release in sight.

Wilmington was ready this time. As she reached for his head, Buck caught her arms and pushed her back onto the soft mattresses. A small skirmish ensued as the couple fought playfully.

Once again, Chris and Vin exchanged strange looks. Tanner's eyebrows rose suspiciously. "She like this with you?" he asked.

Larabee ran his fingers through his hair, "Nope," he cocked his head. "Not exactly… Can't say I mind the game though," he grinned.

The expression on Vin's face was wondrous as he watched Chris slip off his boots and step onto the mattresses.

"Need a little help there, sport?" the blond joked as he settled down beside the battling couple.

"Stay out of this, Larabee," Cassandra snapped, still fighting to regain her previous position.

Wilmington looked up at the blond and grinned. "What the hell took you so long, stud?" he offered a flailing arm.

As Buck and Chris exchanged positions, the ladies' man inched his way down the woman's body, slowly taking her pants along with him.

Once Cass realized what was going on, she increased her objections.

Larabee clamped her mouth with his and the mumbled reluctance slowly subsided.

Watching Buck take off Cass's boots and pants was a slight shock to Vin's system, especially since she was being restrained at the time. But, when Chris quelled any further resistance with his mouth, Tanner couldn't take it any longer. "Whoa," he blurted out. "How… how do you know this is a game? Don't look like no game to me…"

Three bodies froze. Three sets of eyes adjusted around body parts to peer up into scared blue eyes. After a moment of thought, Chris quickly removed himself from Cassie's torso. Buck cocked his head, sitting back on the mattress.

Freed from her restraints, the lady sat up slowly, pursed her lips and stood. Seven small steps brought her to the edge of the mattresses, and face to face with Vin.

The sharpshooter's eyes tracked every movement explicitly. He watched all too familiar curves as they twisted and folded. His eyes took in the nakedness, as it slowly grew closer. His heart skipped several beats as her gentle hands reached for his.

Tanner resisted the first tug but Cass tried again and smiled gently as he stepped onto the mattresses. She nodded her reassurance as she drew him to her previous position. Kneeling, she urged him down.

On the second tug, Vin compiled. He looked hesitantly at his two teammates before looking back into the reflections that matched his own.

"No more games," Cassandra whispered quietly. She inched closer to the sharpshooter and began to unfasten his shirt…
