NOTE: This story was written in response to the challenge given to the
DunnesDarlins List. The List Moms offered a short conversation between Chris
and JD, which needed to be incorporated into the story. This story is located
in the Great American Desert in south central Wyoming, mid August. Everyone
who is sick of fighting snow, ice and too cold temperatures this winter can
warm up imaging the summer with mid-90 degrees and dry desert air while reading.
